Happy Teacher's Day

I know teacher's day is tomorrow, but today i celebrate teacher's day mah.
Went back to school with kim leng, winston, yi tian and amelia. lol. Saw many teachers.. same as usual. (smiling)

After that, kim leng, winston and me went to have lunch. We went to yuki suki (if i am not wrong). lol.

Holiday liao

Yesterday, went to make mooncake. lol, i think the mooncake is too sweet le. However, my sis say it is like this de after she ate one mooncake. She commented that the mooncake was quite well done... lol.. of cos lor.. i make de mah..

Went to joe's house to make... lol.. total of 9 ppl. lol.. i think ting and shan have potential... lol... ting learn very fast, and shan is willing to learn.. she is very hardworking lor..
estee and joe make a few only.. Gwean went off early.. but she also did make quite a lot.. Diana and chenise.. hmmm.. at first they are serious about making, then i think they got bored of it.. they start to venture and make funny looking mooncakes.. lol... (didnt take photo to show)
Overall, i think everyone enjoyed themselve bah.. haha... But lor.. when we finish making.. joe's mother mopped the floor.. arh... how to say.. feel a bit hmmm not right.. leave the dirty work for her mother.. but i scared even if i mop then she would have to mop again..lol..

Hmmm... where should i start?

My nose very pain... feels like it is going to fall off.. lol... been having running nose for the week... at first only during the morning.. then now it is the whole day!! haiz... i not using tissue paper cos.. need a lot.. so i am using toliet paper instead... my sis was shocked at the rate i am using the toliet roll.. one day almost one whole row.. lol... i am using the 2nd one in just two days... lol... my nose very pain..... sob sob... lol...

that all of complaining... gg back to study.. one more topic and i am going off to sleep~~~~

A carrot, an egg, and a cup of coffee… You will never look at a cup of coffee the same way again.

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.


Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire Soon the pots came to boil. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil; without saying a word.

In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl.

Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl. Turning to her daughter, she asked, “Tell me what you see.”

“Carrots, eggs, and coffee,” she replied.

Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg.

Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma The daughter then asked, “What does it mean, mother?”

Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity: boiling water. Each reacted differently.

The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened. The ground coffee beans were unique, however.

After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water.

“Which are you?” she asked her daughter. “When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

Think of this: Which one are you? Are you the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity, do you wilt and become soft and lose your strength?

Are you the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did you have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial hardship or some other trial, have you become hardened and stiff? Does your shell look the same, but on the inside are you bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart?

Or are you like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavour.

If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you.

When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest, do you elevate yourself to another level? How do you handle adversity? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy.

The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can’t go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you’re the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.

going mad

BLAW on tuesday... today is sunday... looks like there is still time.. but my BLAW is poor... I need super memory power!!! lol... Life still continues...

lol... i really going mad liao... sometimes i really think i am not a study person... then sometimes i think i am just not hardworking enough... all the thinking that i have are all so negative... lol... i want to learn.. but i dun like being in a school system... it is like being trapped into a cage.. forced to learn and move... no air to breath.. extremely tired..

It is a relieve to be a girl. lol.

Hope that nothing has been realised

Nothing is sometimes good. Nothing done is sometimes help given, a better way. Realised somethings may not always be good. Don't know is better. Life is so confusing. I am confused. I am not sure what i want, what to do next.

Maybe, i should change my preception, thus change in my behaviour. Sometimes, somethings is not good to have, to hold on. Letting it go, is prehaps a relief, a better choice. I do hope it is not too late. I hope nothing had happened, or changed much. I am going to make a choice. I think it is a good choice.

I do not want to hurt anyone. I am not a perfect girl. I have my weakness and my way of doing things. Like everyone, i am also afraid to be hurt. I want to protect myself. Hope that things is still under control. Hope that nothing has been realised.

Haizz... for the whole day, i am at home... dun feel like gg out.... mug a little... then went playing games... lol... life is boring and tough esp during exam week.
Still have two more paper, and i am free~~~

lol the injection area is now bigger, lol, looks like mosquito bite... but not itchy.. today nothing interesting. i end here bah =D

15 August

Today,hmmm, just past mid-night, so it is ytd... after IHRO test, 7 of us went to TB centre. lol. A blue building, quite old, and it is quiet. Haha... nice place lah.. just that looking on the outside, it dun look like a centre at all. The nurse take our particulars and then is the INJECTION!!! lol... not that scary lah.. injection only, will not kill. lol.

Looking at the injected area now, there is only a red dot there. lol.

today nothing special lah... oh ya... i brought a very "shuai" watch!!! haha

something else

While studing, my mind keeps drifting off. Reflecting what i have done in the past, thinking of what i should do in the future, thinking of a lot of things. Haiz... all not related to study. lol.

I really do think people's behaviour is strongly related to their family background.
People like me,... hard to understand if you know nothing about my background.

Here is a point to note; if you regard a person as your best friend, PLEASE make an effort to understand or find our their family background. Cos i really reflects how they act and behave. Therefore, minimise any misunderstanding and maintain a longer and stronger relationship.

Today, i forgot i meeting xin and shan. when they call me then i rush to meet them. lol. we planned to watch Harry Potter at 1.30pm de, but when we reached the cinema, the ticketing personnel told us that there is no show on 1.30pm, only 11.00am, which means we have missed the show! lol
so sad... i cant watch Harry Potter~~~~ sob sob..
Tml going to celebrate xin's bday!!! lol.
That all for today~~ have to get back and study le... lol... no mood...

Lover? or Friends?

Today, in msn, someone ask me whether i would chose between friends or lover?
Guess what i reply?? haha
I will choose friends over lover. why? firstly, i have never been in a relationaship before, which is mainly because i think i am still too young for love. lol.
And to me, friends are people who i care and people who cares for me.

To me, friends are more important. However, i cannot guarantee that i will have the same answer in years to come. This is because, as people grow their purpose, mindsets changes.

Like what it is said, friends are there forever, but lover may not be.
i do agree to a certain point. But, it will still depend on how it is being viewed. Ya, friends will not hurt you as much as a lover can. Friends dun really make you jealous, lover do. Friends seem to be always there for us.

On the other point, allthough, Lover makes you cry thu the night, make you happy all day long. Lovers affect you greatly, much more than friends. However, a lover is someone that will be with you throughout your life. Friends also do, but they cant be there for you all day and night, for years, just face it, it is different.

So does it mean that lover are more important than friends? Since he or she will be with you for the rest of your life? And that friends are also important, cos they are the people who you go to if you need help, or comfort?

The rest is for you to ponder. haha. (to the person = hopes this helps)

National Day

Today is National Day!!!
Have you watch the NDP show??? Is it nice?? Lol
Every year they have something unqiue. This day is the location!! The stage is build above water!! A bit like the "soong of the sea" in sentosa. LOL.
Quite interesting too. haha. Something i like about Sinagapore is it's NDP. lol
If i happen to be oversea in the future on this day, i will definitly find a mean like watching NDP live from the net. lol. Once a Singaporean, Always a Singaporean at heart.

Now the sad part is... I haven start my revision!!!! have to start tml.. lol...

Just my thinking

Today, went to school for GEMs test. Can pass lah. haha..

I want to share something to those who happen to read this post. lol.
This is just my thinking. you may not agree to it.

There are many things in life that we, as a human have to handle. For example, family, career, love, money, health etc. Ya, i would say that being a human in this generation is a tough one. So many things, unforseeable things. I think that's why people pray to god to seek comfort. knowing that someone is there looking out for you. like what hai ping's nick wrote "god can plan, but can never decide for you". ya, our destiny has really been planned, but the decision still lays with us, whether we want to make it happen or not...

So, my point here is that we should make sure that we decide carefully or at least follow what our heart tells us. In every individual, for every single things, we have made a decision, sometimes we just dun want to face it, or even unaware of it..

Love is something very objective, you cant force people to fall in love with you. And you cant force people to not fall in love with you. It is just something that is uncontrollable. We have to make sure that we know what we want. dun force into something like LOVE.

Fall in love with someone you love. And dont fall in love with love. Cos that will cause a lot of problems and saddness to the both parties and also people around them.
Being a single, wait for the right time, the right person. Isnt that the best way than to force yourself into a relationship? when you dun even know whether you like the person or not.

What i want to say is that be true to yourself. Dun force just because of peer influence. The right time will come. AND also what's yours is yours. What's not yours, you force to have it will still ended up to be nothing, worthless.

all project done!!

Today, after handing in biz law and ihro report, i have finish all my projects.
Now i am left with exams!!! have to JIA YOU liao!!!

hmmm... many things happened lately, good and bad. i think it is only part and parcel of life. therefore, everyone be strong and work hard to face them!!

Oh ya.. yesterday, i went to see my gong. My ah gong finally went home le. He is thinner now, and he is not longer able to walk, cos of laying too long in the hospital. Looking at him, makes me both happy and sad. Happy that he is still alive, sad because he looks helpless to me. Everything that is normal looks so tough to him. Example, shifting himself on the chair. He need to put in all his strength just to move himself. mixed feeling. Sometimes i do hope that i dun notice so much.

In school, joyce is suffering from tb. Her condition is under control. She is getting well le. Haha. Dun worry to much le joyce!!! Just dun forgot to eat your medication!!! lol

FINALLY!!!! Today is 4 of August!!! Left with one more report and i am done. Then have to start preparing for exams! finally can relax a bit. After so many days of hardwork and buring of mid-night oil, my group and i finally can relax. In the mid of all the reports and presentations, i did learn a lot and had experienced to new things. I felt i am growing internally. haha.

This are some photo taken in today's sha villa practical. this is my second time being a waitness. haha. Serving the director of SB!!! Really scary, but overall, still can handle. From Mr Ronald's comment, he says that my class is the best for the time being cos 05 havent have their practical yet. haha.

Every group had produced very good centre pieces. My group is on snow. estee's on nature and flowers, nigel's on the stage of the opera, and lastly diana's on musical. All have their uniques i would say.

For my group, shu ting is the captain, joe the runner, yu shan the bar tenter, shaidah and i are the waitness. Haha. Good job done!!!
