LTC camp

Just came back from LTC(leaders of tomorrow camp). Sun burnt, now I look like a red lobster. LOL. The camp was very fun and enjoyable, I learnt a lot in this camp. I think this camp is very different, everyone is a leader in their way and i get to observe and understand how different leaders works and react to different situation. I admit that at first I am reluntant to go, I go just to complete my NYAA. I didnt regret, I am actually very thankful that I went for the camp.

On 2 sept,
(shan, estee, joe, joyce, qinghuang, jazreel, gwean and hui jue)stay overnight in Changi airport including myself. Shu Ting, Chenise and Diana leaving on the 6pm flight. When to find Shu ting at 4.30pm in T1. She was with a aunty, hao hao, her two sisters and parents. She seems worried but i know she is trying very hard to be strong to hold back all the tears. GOOD JOB TING!!! you have taken another step forward to be more independent and mature. I believe you can do well and at the same time enjoy yourself there.

After that I rush to school with my camping stuff. Together in a bus we went to malaysia and took a motor speed boat to pulau sibu. The island was very beautiful!! just like a resort, sandy beach, wooden huts etc. Shared a hut with three other friends = Izzay, jasmine and shu lan. The bead was covered with mosquito net. Quite romantic =X My group, Hakka, went for cliff abseiling first. The experience was wow. we are climbing down a 5-storey high on real cliff! MY first time doing, it was scary to make the first move down but fun when hanging. LOL. A bit like rock climbing.

3 sept
Hakka went for snorkelling. I tell you, once you went to snorkel, you will love it!! I want to snorkel again! If i had known it was so fun, i would have join SP snorkelling!!! There are fishes swimming, I saw yellow corals, sea cucumber. Afterwhich we had some ball games, soccer and volleyball. Then i learn how to build a shelter, light up fire and also using plant stem to make spoons, bowl etc.

4 sept
Took a speedboat to stingray island, a small no-man island. We are ask to build a shelter, cook our lunch and build a raft. The initial plan is that the boat will stop at a certain distance for us to swim to the island, (ship wreak situation), but because of low tide, we did not swim. We have to find our own suppliers, there was clue given to help us along the way. Three of them, izzay, jasmine and Johnathon was stuck by hornets!!! the area that was bitten will swollen.

We have to hunt for chicken and kill it, each gp is given two! I help to hunt the chicken, the chicken was really heavy!! No one dares to kill the chicken. But luckily, Johnathon volunteered!! Lazzy and I pluck the chicken feathers in the sea. LoL. salted chicken. We BBQ the chicken and cooked the rice. The Food turn out better than I thought! It taste nice. There are Oyster in the rock, have to crash the shell to take the oyster out. It was small but nice =X (my first time eating raw oyster) Then there are mini games played like tug-a-war (painful) and running games.
The shelter was very innovative =D, a bit look like toilet.LOL.

Fun FUN Fun and Fun!!! Brought some souvenirs back (sunburnt and mosiquito bite). Haha. Overall, the camp is well planed and the students are very participative. Good JOB all!!!
