Orientation

Went for orientation of both Fairmont Singapore and Swissotel the Stamford on Monday, Tuesday and again on Friday. Reporting time is at 8.45am. We had two teabreaks! and a lunch break. Kept eating and drinking coffee (I am so xin fu~ the coffee is really smooth~). Eatting, listening to talks and also do some walkabout the outlets and rooms of both hotels.

On Tuesday I get to go the the helipad area! And guess what?! I am standing on the top of the hotel which is the 73th Floor! I took photos, It was really a eye opener for me. Standing on top of a building that was once the tallest hotel in the whole world! The view was spendid! Can see Boat Quay, Singapore Flyers, Marina, Singapore River etc~~ Even went to the New Asian Bar! The sofa is really really comfortable! @.@ We went there early in the morning at around 9am so there wasn't guest. But mind you the hotel is running at 80+% for that day! A really good experience. This is the most interesting part of the orientation. But we also have the boring part in the afternoon. Can u imagine I snooze off? when I am standing at the front row?! Aaaa~ But i really fall asleep but of cos for a few minutes lah. The Speakers are all managers of certain department!

Today, Wednesday, I did lobby greeting. I finally experience the fun of it and I am left with two more days to enjoy it. Sob~~ And then I am going to RIF liao. Jia you~~ Thursday, I am going to meet Estee and some of the DTRM~ Looking forward~~
